I had to figure this one out before it was very funny
Early one morning Shirly's husband, who works in a funeral home, woke her complaining of severe abdominal pains.

They rushed to the emergency room where tests were performed to determine the source of the pain.
.
Shirly's husband decided not to have her call in sick for him until they would know what was wrong.
.
When the results came back the nurse informed them that,true to their suspicions, he was suffering from a kidney stone.
.
Shirley turned to her husband and asked, "Would you like me to call the funeral home now?"
.
With a scornful look, the nurse turned to her and snapped,"Honey, he's not that sick!"

Older than the hills around here. You've heard it before, but anyway, . . .
A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
The husband said, "You are in charge of the cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."
The wife replies, "No you should do it because it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."
The husband replies, "I can't believe that, prove it to me."
So the wife fetched her Bible and, opening it to the New Testament, turned to her husband and showed him where, at the top of several pages, it indeed says... HEBREWS.
